Triumph Speed 400 prices to be hiked by Rs 10,000 from January 1

Triumph’s new entry-level offerings include the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400X.

Triumph has announced that the introductory pricing for the Speed 400 will end on December 31, 2023. From January 1, 2024, the ex-showroom prices will be hiked by Rs 10,000 to Rs 2.33 lakh.

The Speed 400 was launched in July this year. The neo-retro roadster is Triumphโ€™s new entry-level offering alongside the Scrambler 400X, which was introduced in the Indian market in October.

Both models are powered by a 398cc, liquid-cooled engine that makes 39.5 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 37.5 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a torque-assist clutch.

The Speed 400 is equipped with an upside-down front fork offering 130 mm of travel and a mono-shock at the rear. Braking power is provided by a 300 mm rotor at the front and a single disc at the rear.
