Jeep Wrangler prices hiked by up to Rs 2 lakh

The Wrangler Rubicon now costs Rs 66.65 lakh ( ex-showroom).

Jeep India has increased the prices of the Wrangler by up to Rs 2 lakh.

In India, the Wrangler is available in two variants: Ultimate and Rubicon. Following the latest price hike, these are now priced at Rs 62.65 lakh and Rs 66.65 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.

The Wrangler is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 264 BHP @ 5,250 rpm and 400 Nm @ 3,000 rpm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and a Selec-Trac full-time four-wheel drive system.

The Rubicon uses the same engine and gearbox combination but is a more rugged version of the standard SUV.

The Wrangler isnโ€™t Jeepโ€™s only premium offering in India. The American carmakerโ€™s product portfolio also includes the Grand Cherokee, which is priced at Rs 80.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
