Top five cars to see at Goodwood Revival from classic Ferrari’s to Jaguar’s
Beautiful Ferrari’s, Corvettes and Jaguar’s are among the top classic cars to see at this weekend’s Goodwood Revival. This year’s festival marks a series of anniversaries making 2023 an unmissable year.
Not only is the Revival celebrating 25 years, Goodwood itself is marking 75 years since the Sussex circuit first opened its doors in 1948.
Ferrari 330 GTO
One of the rarest cars Ferrari ever assembled will take to the track this weekend. Less than five 330 GTO’s were ever built by the Scuderia in the early 1960s to tackle endurance events such as the Le Mans 24 Hours.
The 330 is fitted with a mighty 4 litre V12 engine capable of over 150mph. The model’s design is an altered version of the Prancing Horse’s stunning 250 GTO chassis

Corvette Stingray
The C2 Chevrolet Corvette is an absolute beauty and a must-see for petrolheads this weekend. The Stingray nickname originated from the Q Corvette concept car which was never manufactured
The C2 was a major step up from the C1 Corvette and capable of a whopping 140mph back in the early 1960s. Just over 100,000 models were ever made and the machine has since gone down as an era-defining classic.
Jaguar E-Type
Enzo Ferrari reportedly called the British manufacturer’s E-Type the “most beautiful car in the world”. It’s easy to see why with the E-Type still wowing audiences over 60 years after it first rolled out the forecourt.
The model was produced by Jaguar’s racing team after success with the D-Type at Le Mans. E-Types hit the market for just over £2,000 but models can easily top £230,000 today.

Studebaker Golden Hawk
The stunning four-door touring car will make its second appearance at the Revival this weekend after extensive work. Ex-F1 star Jochen Mass drove the car back in 2014 but complained the model was like driving a “lead swan”.
The model was sold by previous owner Bruce Chapman with Ewan Sergison now holding the keys. This time around the car will be driven by former BTCC star and three-time Le Mans class winner Darren Turner after a range of updates.
Ewan said: “Looking at the photos from 2014, Mass was sitting about six feet higher going round a left-hand corner as he is a right-hand corner because of the body roll.
“They’ve made a lot of alterations to the car to try to make it handle better after Jochen’s comments but it hasn’t been driven since. We’re the guinea pigs.”
Lola T70 Spyder
The Can-Am machines are among the quickest vehicles to take on the classic Goodwood circuit over the Revival weekend.
One of the most stunning examples is the open-top Lola T70 Spyder which dominated the sport in the 1960s.
The T70 won five out of six races in 1966 with John Surtees clinching the world championship. The T70 also competed in endurance racing including Le Mans, finishing one-two at the 1969 24 Hours of Daytona.
