‘Most drivers aren’t taking advantage of five amazing hidden features’

A social media influencer has highlighted several features that can help to improve the driving experience of a car, but many drivers aren’t aware of.

The TikTok user @chequanxiaoqiao regularly posts short videos, informing viewers on how they can make the most out of their cars.

In one of her most popular videos, @chequanxiaoqiao highlights that almost all cars feature an adjustable steering wheel.

She said: “Many people don’t know these hidden functions in the car until their car is scrapped.

“Press this little wrench under the steering wheel. You can adjust the front and rear height of the steering wheel.”

By pulling a small lever under the steering column, the vertical height of the steering wheel can be moved, with many models also allowing users to bring the wheel closer.

Similarly, @chequanxiaqiao noted that the height of the seat belt mountings can often be adjusted, helping to keep the driver and front passenger of the car safe.

She explained: “The seatbelt can be adjusted according to the height of the driver.”

Finally, @chequanxiaoqiao added that the rearview mirror can be adjusted to prevent the headlamps of vehicles behind from dazzling the driver at night.

She added: “The lights of the rear car are too dazzling when driving at night?

“We just need to press this little wrench under the rearview mirror. You can turn on the anti-glare function.”

With nearly 800,000 likes and 200,000 bookmarks, many viewers have thanked @chequanxiaoqiao for the tips raised in the video.

One driver wrote: “Wait a min… you mean to tell me there was an anti-glare function? All the nights I nearly drove off the road…”

Another joked: “I’m watching this intently and I don’t even have a car.”
