Deal of the Day: EV vans get £2.500 off plus freebies worth over £1,150

Electric vans from Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroen and Fiat are our deal of the day for October 3

  • £2,500 off Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroen and Fiat EV vans
  • £400 charging credit
  • Free home wallbox charger

Stellantis LCV brands are offering a £2,500 incentive on their range of all-electric small and medium vans. The models involved include the Vauxhall Combo Electric and Vivaro Electric, Peugeot e-Partner and e-Expert, Citroën ë-Berlingo and ë-Dispatch, and the Fiat Professional E-Doblò and E-Scudo, the latter a former Auto Express electric van of the year.

Each brand's ‘grant’ comes on top of the existing government grant for electric vans, currently worth up to £5,000, meaning electric van buyers could get up to £7,500 off their new work vehicle.

On top of the £2,500 grant, each brand is offering a free home wallbox with installation – supplied by Ohme or Free2Move eSolutions and managed by Octopus. If customers already have a wallbox, then there’ll be a further £750 (+VAT) deposit contribution towards their new van.

That’s not all, though. Each van buyer will get £400-worth of credit on an Octopus Electroverse card to be used at over 500,000 public chargers across Europe, giving up to 2,500 miles of free driving.

The Vauxhall Vivaro Electric is the UK’s favourite electric van, accounting for over a quarter of electric vans sold in the UK in 2023. Add on the other Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroen and Fiat Professional electric vans and Stellantis accounts for over half of all electric vans sold here this year.

Tony Lewis, LCV Director, Stellantis UK, said: “With zero-emissions-in-use, a refined driving experience and exemption from current congestion and emissions zone charges, electric vans offer fantastic benefits, particularly for drivers operating in urban areas. The Stellantis e-LCV Grant is designed to provide an all-round package for electric van drivers, making it even more attractive for fleets and businesses looking to go electric.”

Stallantis’ e-LCV Grant applies to in stock vehicles ordered between now and the end of the year. The company’s entire small EV van line-up is now built in the UK at the former Vauxhall plant in Ellesmere Port in Cheshire.
