Reliance launches JioMotive OBD-based telematics for cars

The Reliance JioMotive OBD device costs Rs 11,999 but is currently available with a 58% discount.

Reliance Jio has launched an OBD-based telematics solution for cars. JioMotive offers security features and allows users to monitor various vehicle parameters.

JioMotive is a plug-and-play device that plugs into the car’s OBD port. It has an integrated e-SIM that offers in-car WiFi services as well.

JioMotive also offers multiple security features. These include real-time vehicle tracking, geofencing, tow alert, and Time Fence which allows users to set specific time periods during which the vehicle should not be turned on.

The Trip Tracker feature records every trip made by the vehicle and analyses driving performance. It keeps track of rapid accelerations, overspeeding and sharp turns.

Furthermore, users can monitor the vehicle’s crucial parameters like battery health, engine load, coolant temperature and air intake temperature. The device also offers access to over 200 engine diagnostic codes.

The Reliance JioMotive OBD device costs Rs 11,999. It is currently available for a 58% discount (Rs 4,999) on Reliance Digital.
