Here is a look at all the important car launches expected to take place in December 2023.
2023 Kia Sonet Facelift
Kia has released a teaser of the upcoming Sonet facelift. The updated sub-4 meter SUV is set to debut on December 14, 2023.
Mechanically, the updated Sonet will be identical to the outgoing version. It will carry forward the existing 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, 6-speed automatic and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.

Lamborghini Revuelto
Lamborghini is all set to launch the Reveulto hybrid supercar in India on December 6, 2023. The Reveulto replaces the Aventador in the brandโs line-up. It is rumoured to be priced at Rs 8.9 crore (ex-showroom).
The Revuelto is powered by a new 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12, which produces 825 BHP @ 9,250 rpm and 725 Nm @ 6,750 rpm. It is paired with three electric motors, two at the front and one at the rear, which, along with the engine, offer a combined power output of 1,001 BHP. The hybrid powertrain is paired with a new 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Jeep Compass Petrol
Jeep is said to be working on a new 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine for the Indian market. The new motor is expected to power the Compass SUV for a couple of years.
The 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine has already been used in the Renegade. However, it would have to be calibrated and homologated for the Indian market. That being said, the process might already be underway.
Jeep hasn’t announced a specific launch date for the petrol-powered Compass SUV.

Lexus LM MPV
Lexus India started accepting pre-bookings for the LM luxury MPV in August this year. The carmaker claims to have received over 100 bookings.
The 2024 Lexus LM is based on Toyota’s GA-K platform and features a redesigned exterior with a large, upright grille, sleek LED headlamps and a wraparound LED light bar that extends across the rear fascia. The LM is available in 4 and 7-seater configurations.
While Lexus hasn’t officially revealed the launch date, we expect it could happen soon.
