Mini Countryman Shadow Edition launched at Rs 49 lakh

The Shadow Edition is based on the Countryman Cooper S JCW Inspired variant and is limited to just 24 units.

Mini has launched a limited edition iteration of the Countryman, called the Shadow Edition. It is based on the Cooper S JCW Inspired variant and is available in limited numbers; 24 units to be precise.

The Mini Countryman Shadow Edition features an all-black exterior with a silver roof and mirror caps. It has a Piano Black exterior trim with double matt paint on the exterior decals. The car gets Shadow Edition bonnet scoop decals, front fender decals, side scuttles, door entry sills, and Shadow Edition stickers on the roof. The Mini Shadow Edition rides on 18-inch Grip Spoke alloy wheels and features the John Cooper Works aerodynamic kit.

Inside, the car gets Chester Malt Brown leather upholstery, electric seats in the front, a panoramic sunroof and a Harman Kardon sound system with Apple CarPlay. It also gets an automatic tailgate and a Picnic Bench that folds out of the luggage compartment.

The Mini Countryman Shadow Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 176 BHP @ 5,000-6,000 rpm and 280 Nm @ 1,350-4,600 rpm. The engine is mated with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox that can accelerate the car from 0-100 km/h in 7.5 seconds. It has a top speed of 225 km/h.
