KTM has unveiled the all-new 1390 Super Duke R. It replaces the mighty 1290 Super Duke in the Austrian bikemakerโs line-up.
The KTM 1390 Super Duke R is a big-fat naked bike that looks like a typical KTM streetfighter. It has dual LED headlamps with V-shaped LED daytime running lights on either side, aggressive tank extensions and a stepped seat.
The 1390 Super Duke R is powered by a new LC8 1,350cc 2-cylinder engine that makes 188 BHP and 145 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch.
The new Super Duke is based on a Chrome-moly tubular space frame. The bike weighs 200 kg and comes with a larger 17.5-litre fuel tank. It is equipped with an upside-down front fork offering 125 mm of travel and a mono-shock at the rear. Braking is handled by dual 320 mm discs with Brembo Stylema calipers at the front and a single 240 mm disc with a 2-piston caliper at the rear.
The KTM 1390 Super Duke R comes with multiple riding modes, a lean-sensitive traction control system, a digital instrument console and TPMS.
