Hero MotoCorp posts its best-ever festive season sales in 2023

As per reports, 2-wheeler sales during the festive period reached the 30 lakh unit mark.

Hero MotoCorp has reported its highest-ever festive season sales this year. The company sold over 14 lakh 2-wheelers during the 32-day festive period, beating the previous record of 12.7 lakh units posted in 2019. Sales increased by 19% compared to the previous year. 

According to a media report, 2-wheeler sales during the festive period reached the 30 lakh unit mark. However, these are tentative figures as the final numbers are yet to be announced by the four major brands, which include Hero MotoCorp, Honda, TVS and Bajaj Auto.

“Our strong portfolio of brands, scale of distribution and new launches done this year helped in driving this growth across geographies. The festive season is a clear testimony that rural is coming back to growth, which augurs well for the country in general and the two-wheeler industry in particular,” said Niranjan Gupta, CEO, Hero MotoCorp.
