‘Best’ method to defrost car windscreen is using homemade solution, says expert

Another hack is to fill a bag with warm water and rub it against the windscreen, which is effective for removing a thin layer of ice or snow.

However, the “best” method for removing frost from the windscreen is to “wake up on time”.

This means you will have enough time to let the car warm up gradually after blasting the heating on full blast.

If there is thicker ice or snow on the windscreen, then using a scraper is the best way to avoid any damage while effectively improving visibility.
