KTM’s next-generation 390 Adventure motorcycle is in the works. Ahead of its global unveil sometime next year, the upcoming ADV has been spied undergoing testing internationally.

The spy images of the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure showcase a more off-road oriented design, with wired-spoke wheels, a large front beak, dual LED headlamp setup with inverted horseshoe-shaped LED DRLs, minimal body panels, large windscreen and beefy knuckle guards. The prototype motorcycle seen in the spy images features a new rear sub-frame and a single-piece seat. The motorcycle’s rear comes with split grab handles and twin-pod LED tail lights.

The new-gen KTM 390 Adventure will carry forward USD telescopic forks from WP at the front with long suspension travel and rebound & compression adjustability. The rear gets a mono-shock suspension, again with rebound and pre-load adjustability. The upcoming 390 Adventure will borrow the instrument cluster from the new-gen 390 Duke.

It will also use the same powertrain, which comes in the form of a 399cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. It produces 45 BHP and 40 Nm and will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The new-gen KTM 390 Adventure will launch in the Indian market as well. Once launched it will take on the likes of the BMW G 310 GS and the newly-launched Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
