The Sierra EV concept was showcased at Auto Expo 2023. <\/h2>\n
A design patent of what appears to be the production-spec Tata Sierra EV has leaked online.<\/p>\n
The Sierra EV concept was showcased at Auto Expo 2023. It had a sliding rear door on the passenger side with a large glass area, a clear nod to the original Tata Sierra.<\/span><\/p>\n
However, unlike the concept car, the patent image reveals a more conventional 5-door SUV. It has a boxy appearance with short front and rear overhangs, that remind us of the Land Rover Defender.<\/span><\/p>\n
The Sierra EV has an upright and minimalistic front fascia. It features a wraparound LED daytime running light that stretches across the front end. The car has square-ish wheel arches, a clamshell bonnet and a strong shoulder line.<\/span><\/p>\n
Technical details of the Tata Safari EV are still unknown. In addition to an electric powertrain, the SUV could also get more conventional powertrain options.<\/span><\/p>\n
