Audi has rolled out the last TT sports car model off its assembly line at the brand’s Gyor plant in Hungary. This marks the end of the 25-year production span of Audi’s two-door sports car, first unveiled in coupe form in 1996.

Over its 25-year lifespan, the Audi TT has undergone three generation changes, along with multiple facelifts, special & final editions and two body style configurations (coupe & convertible). The last model to roll off the assembly line was a TTS Coupe powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, producing 306 BHP – allowing it to sprint from 0 – 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.

Although Audi had announced the end of production of the TT earlier this year, the carmaker revealed one final special edition iteration earlier this month, in the form of the ‘Final Edition Roadster’. Audi is yet to confirm whether or not the TT nameplate will be brought back at any point in the future.
