The cheapest car insurance across the UK have been unveiled by experts in a\u00a0boost for motorists desperate for a deal.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As the cost of living crisis continues to worry families, road users desperate for higher premiums are urged to look no further than these machines.\u00a0<\/p>\n

From British road car brand Vauxhall to the popular models from Nissan and Citroen, these 10 vehicles are among the most cost-effective on the market.<\/p>\n

Experts at\u00a0Howden Insurance\u00a0have listed these models as the most inexpensive among forecourts.<\/p>\n

1. Vauxhall Corsa\u00a0<\/h3>\n

The Corsa is one of the most popular vehicles on UK roads with around 1.1 million models on the streets.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Older Vauxhall Corsa models released in the mid-noughties can be picked up for under \u00a31,000 while newer models are around \u00a31.500 to \u00a33,000.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to MoneySuperMarket, the most popular Corsa models can be insured for around \u00a3650 per year.<\/p>\n

Experts at Howden Insurance said: \u201cCheap to run, easy to drive, and jam-packed with incredible features, the Vauxhall Corsa is a classic compact car for first-time drivers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIts smooth steering and small size make it ideal for city living, while the LED headlights and smart touchscreen (with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) make longer journeys safe and comfortable.\u201d<\/p>\n

2. Nissan Micra\u00a0<\/h3>\n

Compare the Market says Micra\u2019s usually fit between insurance groups five-11 meaning they are at a low risk of being stolen.\u00a0<\/p>\n

These tend to be cheaper, smaller cars where the cost of repairs is unlikely to be substantial.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to HelloSafe, newer Micra models can be insured for around \u00a3475 per year with costs only rising as high as \u00a3515.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Howden Insurance backs the Micra for its sharp design, slick interior and safe and reliable motor.\u00a0<\/p>\n

3. Hyundai i10<\/h3>\n

The Hyundai i10 is another group one insurance car meaning this is one of the most affordable on the market.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Experts at Finder.com estimate that an average 30-year-old will pay around \u00a3582 for a 1.0-litre Hyundai i10.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, costs could rise to around \u00a3688 for the more expensive and powerful 1.2 litre Hyundai i10 Premium SE.<\/p>\n

4. Citroen C1\u00a0<\/h3>\n

MoneySuperMarket claims the Citroen C1 is one of the \u201clowest insurance groups\u201d on the market.\u00a0<\/p>\n

They stress the budget prices are mainly down to the reliability and low servicing costs making it an insurer’s dream.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The car is usually based in insurance groups six to 13 with average premiums of around \u00a3858.04.<\/p>\n

Howden Insurance said the C1 was \u201ceasy to drive\u201d and \u201ceasy to park\u201d making it ideal for city travel.\u00a0<\/p>\n
