Kawasaki has launched two new dirt bikes in the Indian market. The 2024 KX 85 is priced at Rs 4.20 lakh and the KLX 300R costs Rs 5.60 lakh (ex-showroom). Both models will be imported via the CBU route.<\/p>\n
The Kawasaki KX 85 is powered by an 84cc single-cylinder 2-stroke engine. It is paired with a close ratio 6-speed transmission.<\/p>\n
The KX 85 is based on a tubular, semi-double cradle frame and features a 36 mm inverted cartridge fork at the front offering 275 mm of travel and a Uni Trak rear suspension with a fully adjustable KYB shock at the rear.<\/p>\n
The KX 85 is equipped with 202 mm and 150 mm disc brakes at the front and rear, respectively and rides on Dunlop MX33 tyres<\/p>\n
KLX 300R uses a 292cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke engine that makes 28.6 BHP and 26.3 Nm. The engine is mated with a 6-speed gearbox.<\/p>\n
The KLX 300R is equipped with a 43 mm inverted front fork and a Uni Trak single shock at the rear. Braking is handled by a 270 mm semi-floating front disc and a 240 mm petal-type disc at the rear.<\/p>\n
