The 7-seater SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that puts out 168 BHP and 350 Nm. The engine is mated with either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission. Higher variants of the Meridian are available with four-wheel drive.<\/p>\n<p>The Compass uses the same 2.0-litre diesel engine as the Meridian and gets four-wheel drive on higher trims. The carmaker is said to be offering discounts of up to Rs 1.45 lakh on the 4WD variants.<\/p>\n<p>Jeep introduced 2WD Diesel AT variants of the Compass in September this year.
