Hyundai will be aiming to achieve a 5-star rating for the Tucson.<\/h2>\n

Earlier this week, we reported that the\u00a0Tata Harrier and Safari\u00a0would be the first to undergo Bharat NCAP crash tests. Maruti, Hyundai and Mahindra are also sending their vehicles for evaluation.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to a media report, the Tucson will be the first Hyundai to be crash tested under the Bharat NCAP program. It is likely to be followed by the Exter.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hyundai will be aiming to achieve a 5-star rating for the Tucson. The SUV comes equipped with 6 airbags, ABS, ESC, and three-point seatbelts with seatbelt reminders. The top variant of the Tucson also gets Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).<\/span><\/p>\n

The Tucson has already been crash tested by Euro NCAP and Latin NCAP. The SUV was awarded a 5-star rating by the European agency but failed to achieve a perfect score in Latin NCAP tests as it has stricter testing protocols.<\/span><\/p>\n
