Now, a Toyota spokesman has told Auto Express: \u201cI can confirm that the car is now coming to the UK\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/media.autoexpress.co.uk\/image\/private\/s--5-R-ZGLs--\/f_auto,t_related-embed-mobile@1\/v1687524028\/autoexpress\/2023\/06\/Toyota%20C-HR%202023-15.jpg\">New Toyota C-HR: pricing revealed for second instalment of funky hybrid crossover<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Toyota initially cited decreased demand as a reason for why it wouldn\u2019t bring the new model to the UK, with the likes of the C-HR and Corolla encroaching on sales\u00a0for the mid-size family car. The Prius had been especially popular for the private hire industry in the UK thanks to its focus on efficiency, but the Corolla \u2013 which offered the same powertrain as the Prius \u2013\u00a0in particular has been stealing sales in recent years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The latest Prius continues to offer plug-in hybrid and \u2018Series Parallel Hybrid\u2019 powertrains, with promised fuel economy of up to 217mpg and CO2 emissions as low as 29g\/km.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The new car features a sleeker exterior design, borrowing plenty of styling elements from upcoming Toyota\u2019s bZ range of electric cars. The Prius also gets a fresh interior look, with a much larger touchscreen than before. Much of its technology has been lifted from the all-electric bZ4X.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In Europe, Prius pricing ranges from around \u20ac45,000 to \u20ac50,000 (roughly \u00a339,000 to \u00a343,000).
