Earlier this week, Renault unveiled its \u201cInternational Game Plan 2027\u201d in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. The carmaker plans to invest 3 billion euros to launch eight new models by 2027 outside Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n The new models will include C and D-segment models and the recently unveiled B-segment Kardian SUV. These will be based on two new platforms.<\/span><\/p>\n The new Renault Group modular platform is an ultra-flexible platform that will support multiple powertrain options. It has been designed for markets in Latin America, North Africa, Turkiye and India. The other platform will be the Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) that will underpin the D and E segment models.<\/span><\/p>\n Renault\u2019s modular platforms support multiple vehicle sizes ranging from 4 and 5 metres in length and 2.6-3 metres in wheelbase. The modular architectures support front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations along with a variety of powertrain options, including ICE, flex fuel, LPG, mild-hybrid and full hybrid.<\/span><\/p>\n Renault\u2019s modular platforms will be assembled in Latin America, Turkiye, Morocco and India.<\/span><\/p>\n
