The popular motoring YouTuber Scotty Kilmer has warned drivers to always consider the wheels on a vehicle before they buy their next car.<\/p>\n
The personality has worked with cars for 56 years and now regularly advises other motorists on how they can avoid mechanical issues in the future and recommends which models to avoid.<\/p>\n
In one of his latest videos, Scotty recommended that drivers can save money on their next car if it has steel wheels, which can also be easy to work on.<\/p>\n
He advised: \u201cThese are steel wheels from 1994, they still work. They cost less when you buy a car with it, you pay over $1,000 extra for alloy wheels.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd even if you\u2019re a bad driver, you hit curbs and these bend, you can bend them back again with a sledgehammer.\u201d<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re the type of person that often hits curbs, you\u2019re better off with steel wheels you can bend back.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd even if you break the steel wheels, they\u2019re pretty cheap.
