Drivers can shrink the size of their vehicles when parking in tight spaces by pressing just one button, according to a leading expert.<\/p>\n
Holding down a button on a car\u2019s key fob could fold in car wing mirrors which can be a lifesaver when trying to park.<\/p>\n
Tim Alcock, spokesperson for LeaseCar.UK claims the method is a \u201cpractical\u201d way to park in busy areas like cities.<\/p>\n
To activate the setting, drivers just simply hold down the lock button on their key fob but some modern models may automatically fold mirrors when a car is stopped.<\/p>\n
Mr Alcock told Express.co.uk: \u201cSome modern cars allow the driver to fold wing mirrors in, from standing outside their vehicle.<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n Speaking on YouTube, he commented: \u201cIf you\u2019ve got a key on your Honda, you can lock it and it doesn’t do it.<\/p>\n \u201cSo you say to people, ‘you\u2019re meant to do it twice in a row, so lock, lock’ and still nothing happens.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat you have to do is lock once, lock it a second time and then keep your finger down for two or three seconds, and then it goes back in.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you want to bring the wing mirror back out you unlock the car, open up the driver door and it will come out like that.”<\/p>\n Ford is one of the manufacturers which has the technology to automatically fold in wing mirrors when cars are parked.<\/p>\n Ford UK explained: \u201cTo avoid accidental damage, power-folding mirrors automatically fold inwards when you\u2019re parked.
