Aston Martin has launched its latest grand tourer, the DB12, in the Indian market. The DB12 is the successor to the DB11 and is priced at Rs 4.59 crore (ex-showroom).

Starting with its design, the DB12 looks like an evolution of its predecessor. The coupe gets a new set of headlights and a worked front fascia featuring a larger version of Aston’s signature grille. While the overall design looks familiar, the car has wider front and rear tracks.

The DB12 also gets a revamped interior both in terms of design and features. The car gets a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, developed in-house. It comes with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, connectivity features with OTA and other subscription functions. Other highlights inside include an 11-speaker sound system and the presence of physical touch buttons on the centre console.

Powering the DB12 is an AMG-sourced 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing 671 BHP and 800 Nm; a 34% increase in power compared to the DB11. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Aston Martin claims that the DB12 can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 325 km/h.
