Royal Enfield 650cc adventure bike in the works

The recently unveiled Super Meteor 650 is part of the same family of bikes.

Royal Enfield is expanding its 650cc portfolio, and a leaked document suggests that a new 650cc adventure bike is on the cards.

The document reveals the “Twins Platform family tree”. It lists a third model besides the Interceptor INT 650 and Continental GT 650. The silhouette clearly shows a new ADV bike.

Royal Enfield’s new 650cc ADV could be a serious off-roader. It appears to be equipped with raised handlebars, long travel suspension, wire-spoke wheels, an engine bash plate and an upswept exhaust.

The new Adventure bike is expected to be powered by the 648cc parallel-twin engine. In its current tune, the motor produces 46.2 BHP and 52 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The recently unveiled Super Meteor 650 is part of the same family of bikes. The new twin-cylinder cruiser is expected to be launched early next year. The launch timeline for the ADV, though, is still unclear.
