It uses a 1,252cc, Revolution Max, V-twin engine which can also be found on the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250.
Harley-Davidson has confirmed that it will launch the Sportster S in India at IBW 2021. The latest edition of the India Bike Week is scheduled to take place on December 4-5 in Aamby Valley, Maharashtra.
The Harley-Davidson Sportster S was globally revealed earlier this year. It is powered by the 1,252cc, Revolution Max, V-twin engine that is capable of producing 119 BHP and 114 Nm. For the transmission, there is a 6-speed gearbox accompanied by a slipper clutch. This is the same engine that also powers the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250.
Some of the other features on the Harley-Davidson Sportster S include dual exhausts, fat tyres, fully adjustable USD forks at the front, mono-shock at the rear, bar-end mirrors and a 320 mm front and a 260 mm rear disc brake.
As for the electronics, the Sportster S has four riding modes – Road, Sport, Rain and Custom – along with Cornering Enhanced ABS (C-ABS) and a six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU). It also features a tyre pressure monitoring system, cruise control and traction control.
