BMW has launched X1 20i ‘Tech Edition’ with added features and new tech. The SUV is priced at Rs. 43 lakh (ex-showroom).
The X1 20i Tech Edition features LED headlights and LED fog lamps at the front and LED tail lights with bigger twin exhausts at the rear. The SUV rides on new 18-inch alloy wheels. On the inside, the Tech Edition comes equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit with wireless Apple CarPlay, 205 W audio system, wireless charging and head-up display.
Other features offered in the X1 20i Tech Edition include:

- Ambient lighting with six dimmable colours
- Electrically adjustable front seats
- Memory function for the driver’s seat
- Reclining rear seat
- Rear centre armrest with 2 cupholders
The X1 20i Tech Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that produces 188 BHP @ 5,000-6,000 rpm and 280 Nm @ 1,350-4,600 rpm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and comes with four driving modes – ECO, PRO, Comfort and Sport.
