Barrett-Jackson and Ford plan to auction two important vehicles for charity during the Scottsdale Auction March 20-27, 2021: the 2021 Ford Bronco 2-door VIN 001 and 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1 VIN 001.
Barrett-Jackson says 100 percent of the Bronco’s hammer price is benefiting the National Forest Foundation and Outward Bound, both part of Ford’s new Bronco Wild Fund mission to connect people to the outdoors. The total sale price of the Mustang Mach benefits will benefit JDRF’s efforts fighting type 1 diabetes.
These cars should go for big bucks!!
“I’m really excited about both of these reborn icons selling on our auction block,” said Barrett-Jackson boss Craig Jackson. “And since I own a vintage Bronco myself, am particularly interested to see what VIN 001 of the new model will bring.”
The Bronco is the first of 7,000 First Editions and has the Badland Series mechanics. It also has the Sasquatch Package and is finished in Lighting Blue.
The Mach 1, which as you know returns after 17 years is painted Fighter Jet Gray, a color exclusive to the model.
Barrett-Jackson points out that the auction arena during the Scottsdale sale is going to be limited to bidders, consignors and their guests and that all physical distancing guidelines will be enforced. For safety protocols and information about the 2021 Scottsdale Auction, click here.
