An Auction Site Is Recruiting Someone To Find Abandoned Supercars

If you think you could locate and acquire abandoned supercars in one of the Middle East’s richest countries – before the police do – then we have the job for you.

The £30,000 per year role, advertised by luxury online marketplace hushhush.com, involves locating cars whose owners have left Dubai because they are unable to clear a debt – a criminal offence under Sharia law.

Typically these cars are eventually towed away and impounded by the police, but there are legal ways to obtain the cars before that happens, so they can then be sold on. Hushhush.com is looking for someone to find as many of those owner-less cars as possible. Many get left in airport and port car parks.

On top of the salary the successful applicant will get commission on each car ultimately sold through the website, plus living, travel and accommodation costs. If you want the job, you’ll need a good understanding of luxury cars and their value, the ability to track down who legally owns it or the debt against it, strong negotiating skills and a sense of urgency.
