Deliveries of the 2021 Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports have commenced in India. The first bikes were delivered the Honda BigWing dealerships in Mumbai and Bangalore.
The Africa Twin is available with a manual transmission or a dual-clutch automatic (DCT). The manual version costs Rs. 15,96,500 while the DCT version costs Rs. 17,50,500 (ex-showroom, India).
The Africa Twin Adventure Sports is powered by a 1,084cc, parallel-twin cylinder engine that produces 101 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 105 Nm @ 6,250 rpm.
The bike features a bolt-on aluminium sub-frame and swing arm, lithium-ion battery, 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), Throttle by Wire, and 7-level Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC).
Other features include 5-stage adjustable windscreen, adjustable seat, heated grips, tubeless tyres, LED Headlights, Cruise Control, 24.5- litre fuel tank and a 6.5-inch touchscreen instrument cluster with Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth connectivity.
