Buyers are often attracted to the idea of a luxury car to show their financial status, to boost their self-esteem or because they see them as a hobby. Car enthusiasts often have strong attachments to brands and are willing to do anything for the unique experience of a luxury car. Nadia is one of them.
Nadia Khar is a 19-year-old who gets most of her income from the online content subscription platform OnlyFans and working as an influencer on social media.
For her 19th birthday, Nadia decided to treat herself to an £80,000 GTR, her dream car.
But why is she willing to spend most of her wealth on a luxury car?
“I’ve always been into cars since I was young! I grew up really girly but a guy when it comes to cars.
“I’m definitely not materialistic but cars are a big part of my life and I have a passion for them and appreciate them a lot.
“I have a lot of fun working on my cars and making friends in the car world. It’s always great when people are so impressed with my knowledge about cars being a girl and all,” Nadia said.
Nadia currently owns a stage 2 Audi, a street bike and a Nissan GTR which she described as her “dream car”.
“My GTR is my most expensive car and prized possession,” she explained.

However, a 19-year-old being able to afford such an expensive car is quite unusual.
Nadia claims her fortune doesn’t come from explicit content sharing platform OnlyFans but from her influencer job on social media: “I do have OnlyFans but it’s definitely not my main income.
“I make most of my money doing my car photoshoots, sponsorship and collaborations [on social media].”
Although owning luxury cars is a symbol of a high-standard life, Nadia claims hers is as normal as anyone else’s and her love for cars is due to an innate passion and not a luxurious impulse.
“I’m not materialistic so I wouldn’t consider my life ‘high standard’ but I appreciate the cars it’s a big hobby of mine but I could care less if someone has or owns anything just what kind of person you are.”
She told Express.co.uk: “I bought my GTR in June I guess you could say an early birthday gift but it was when I was finally able to afford it. Happiest day of my life!
“My GTR is my dream car and always will be and I’m so grateful to own one.
“I’d love to buy a Viper ACR and add one to my car collection in the future, but I’m really happy with my current cars. I love how luxury cars make me feel happy when I’m down and brings a lot of people together with stuff to talk about!”
Nadia said while documenting her birthday day on YouTube: “Today is the best day ever. I have been looking for a GTR for months now. I found one in Texas. It’s perfect. It’s black and perfect.
“I have been approved by my bank. It’s hard to be approved to buy a $100,000 (£73,000) car when you’re only 19-years-old. It’s hard when you don’t have rich parents. So yeah, I did all this by myself.
“This is a big goal of mine. I wanted a GTR since I was 12 years old. I’m so happy!”
Fans took to social media to comment on Nadia’s latest purchase. YouTube user Umar Shakeel said: “You are the definition of a bomb boss babe. Well done!”
