Watch Ken Block Get Sideways With a Side-by-Side in Quarantine

I’m in quarantine, you’re in quarantine. Everyone’s in quarantine, including Head Hoon In Charge Ken Block. Do you think that’s going to stop him from doing something silly in his vehicles? While also giving his sponsors a little love? Or course not.

Block set up his Hoonigan Racing Division headquarters in Utah for a mini-Gymkhana course with his kids and wife doing the shooting—and some driving. The course includes some lefts and rights, a few donuts, some tight drifting “proximity” moments and even a jump. Oh, and he’s doing it in his Can-Am X3 side-by-side, equipped with a special drift stick so Block can “initiate oversteer” whenever he wants it, which is important when your course is mostly the inside of a building.

What struck me immediately was the quality of at-home video and sound editing for this stunt. The camera work, too. These kids are destined for great things, maybe in a car, maybe out of it.

At the end Block even calls out one of his buddies, who also has enough property to do this at his house. You’ll have to stay to the end to see who we’re talking about.
