Three of the super rare Aston Martin DB5 models will be available as a collection with a massive price tag of £4milion. The models have been collected over a 12 year period while each has a detailed file history.

Each car has been fully restored by a leading Aston Martin restoration specialist and are considered to be in “as-new condition”.

The cars are being offered by Aston Martin dealer Nicholas Mee and Co and will be shown for the first time at the London Concours in June.

Founder Nicholas Mee confirmed each car was in a beautifully restored condition.

Just over 1,000 Aston Martin DB5 models were ever built making it one of the rarest sports cars on the market.

But even rarer was the performance-enhanced Vantage models where less than 70 were produced.

The Vantage models are capable of an extra 40bhp on a traditional DB5’s 282bhp offering.

The car is capable of reaching 0-60mph in just 6.5 seconds despite the age of the vehicles.

The trio’s starring model is the DB5 Shooting Brake vehicle which is believed to be the only example to have ever been produced.

The model was reportedly built for former Aston Martin chairman David Brown to keep his gundog and polo equipment.

The extra room was so popular 11 customers specifically requested the new design as part of their order.

Alongside the Shooting Brake is the DB5 Vantage Convertible which was loved by celebrities such as Peter Sellers.

Only 123 examples were ever built including just five which were finished to Vantage specifications including the one offered in the collection.

The Vantage Coupe also offered in the collection is synonymous with the James Bond franchise and is sure to raise some eyebrows on the road.
