The All-New 2022 Infiniti QX60 Costs More, Brings More to the Table
Following the reveal of its latest QX60, Infiniti has released pricing for the all-new three-row luxury SUV. The second-generation QX60 starts at $47,875 and arrives in showrooms this fall. That price tag is $2,750 more than the outgoing QX60’s cheapest price ($45,375), though the new model is significantly less boring and more appealing than ever.
Before we delve into each of the Infiniti’s four trim levels—Pure, Luxe, Sensory, and Autograph—let’s go over the basics. Every 2022 QX60 comes standard with front-wheel drive and relies on a 3.5-liter V-6 developing 295 hp and mated to a new nine-speed automatic transmission. Infiniti’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system is available as a $2,000 extra. What’s more, a $900 tow package is available on all-wheel-drive Sensory models and standard on the Autograph AWD that makes it possible to tow up to 6,000 pounds.
Standard equipment across the entire lineup is more generous than before and includes a panoramic moonroof, leather-appointed seats in the first and second rows of seats, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment, wireless Apple CarPlay, and USB-based Android Auto. Except for the top-end Autograph trim grade, which gets second-row captain’s chairs with a removable center console, seven-passenger seating is standard. All trims feature eight-way power-adjustable Zero Gravity front seats with heating and power lumbar adjustment. Now let’s break things down trim-by-trim:
Starting from the base QX60 Pure, you get 18-inch wheels, a nine-speaker audio system, four-way driver power lumbar, a heated steering wheel, a backup monitor, and tri-zone automatic climate control. For added comfort, the second and third rows have air vents mounted on the headliner. Safety features include rear automatic braking, blind-spot monitoring, forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and lane departure warning with haptic steering wheel alert. The front-drive QX60 Pure has a window sticker of $47,875 and increases to $49,875 if you opt for an all-wheel drive.
The $53,925 QX60 Luxe adds 20-inch wheels, roof rails, ProPilot Assist with Navi-link driver assists, a 360-degree parking camera (Around View Monitor), lane-departure warning, traffic sign recognition, remote engine starting, and ventilated front seats.
The QX60 Sensory carries a starting price of $57,375 and receives upgraded 20-inch wheels and illuminated door sill plates. Inside, it gains ambient lighting, open-pore ash wood trim, wireless smartphone charging, front seat massagers, and heating for the second-row seat. Other added equipment includes a Bose Performance Series 17-speaker sound system, an advanced climate control system, four-way passenger lumbar, and a motion-activated liftgate.
The crème de la crème of the all-new Infiniti QX60 model range, the QX60 Autograph, comes loaded to the maximum to pamper all passengers aboard. To begin with, the Autograph is the only trim level that adds the Black Obsidian roof with black roof rails to create a two-tone look. Other exterior treatments include chrome body side moldings and under guards. Another Autograph highlight is the gorgeous interior finished in semi-aniline leather. Details such as the contrast stitching, quilting, and piping add an extra touch of luxury.
Moreover, the Autograph adds a 10.8-inch head-up display, a smart rearview mirror, and an adaptive front lighting system. The Autograph FWD starts at $61,375, with AWD models stickering for $64,275. It is also worth repeating that the Autograph AWD adds the tow package as standard.
As for exterior paint options, customers can choose from six premium and three standard colors. Premium paint costs $695 and features soothing tones like Moonbow Blue, Warm Titanium, and Majestic White. But if you want a more exclusive finish, then the Deep Bordeaux paint for $900 might do the trick. Pure, Luxe, and Sensory trim grades get the Sandstone upholstery, whereas the Autograph features Saddle Brown, also available on Sensory. Depending on the model, the three interior trim finishes are black lacquer, silver metallic weave, and black open-pore wood.
