The Italian classic was purchased by Sir Elton John in 2005 and contains a whole host of extra features not fitted in previous models. These include mid-noughties nostalgia such as a rear DVD player with games console compatibility, two headphones, a remote control and s six CD player.
The new owner will also receive a range of unique extras such as the official Maserati welcome letter addressed to “Mr John”.
The successful bidder will also receive a copy of the V5 certificate which features Elton John’s name.
Tristan Judge, Director of classic car auctioneers at The Market said the car was in an “excellent condition”.
He said: “Sir Elton is a national treasure and a global superstar, who has impeccable taste when it comes to buying cars.
“Indeed, the car is in excellent condition and has evidentially been treated like a celebrity itself over the years.”
The car was purchased by its current owner in 2016 but has covered just 1,000 miles since.
The model has been dry stored for much of that time to ensure the model was kept well-preserved.
The car’s odometer shows it has covered just shy of 28,500 miles in its lifetime despite being over 15 years old.

The car is backed up with a host of service stamps to prove the car has received immaculate attention to detail.
The car is finished in a Verde green paintwork with a rosewood veneer interior.
Experts at The Market said they expect to see the car sell for between £15,000 and £40,000 at the auction.
Mr Judge said the car could prove popular with the new owner set to “revel in the history” of the machine.
He said: “This is a very special opportunity for worlds to collide for enthusiasts of both music and collectable cars, grabbing themselves a genuine piece of memorabilia.
“The vehicle’s new owner will be able to enjoy the kind of luxury drive you can expect from a top of the range Italian beauty, as well as revel in the history this car has had in the hands of a music icon.”
Elton John’s car is not the first celebrity model to be sold by classic car auction experts at The market.
They have previously sold a BMW 635CSi owned by former James Bond star Sean Connery and a Range Rover Sport owned by David Beckham.
Elton John has owned a range of fabulous cars during his glittering career from Bemtekys and Rolls Royce’s to British classics such as Aston Martin.
One of his most iconic cars was his 1956 Bentley S12 Continental Sport Saloon which he sold to Alan Sugar in 2001.
He has also previously owned a 1965 Jaguar E-Type Roadster, a 1975 Bentley Corniche and Ferrari 412 Coupe.
The iconic singer has also owned both a Rolls Royce Phantom V and VI.
