As vendors and their vehicles moved into the 2021 SEMA Show, we were on the ground with our cameras at the ready. Forklifts and golf carts buzzed around the Las Vegas Convention Center, building one of the largest trade-only shows in the United States. Look through the gallery of the wildest machines we saw as the SEMA Show was unpacked from boxes and crates.

Fab Fours Solid Axle-Swapped Tacoma

BDS Suspension Fire Command Bronco
As a nod to the half-cab Ford Broncos once used by fire departments, BDS Suspension outfitted a Black Diamond Edition two-door Bronco to get fire response personnel into rugged areas. Glowing Paint: Bestop Jeep Wrangler 4xe on 42s
We caught up with Tony Carvallo as he was unpacking his plug-in hybrid-electric Jeep Wrangler 4xe. Yes, the Jeep showed off an impressive set of 42-inch Milestar Patagonia tires, 1-ton axles, and a suite of exciting goods from Bestop (fender flares, armor, and a slick soft-top), but check out the paint. The striping, “Bestop,” and “4xe” logos use electrified paint to pulse in electric-blue to match the paintjob and other blue-hinted LED lights throughout the Jeep.
Solid-Axle-Swapped Ford Bronco!
Ford Broncos stampeded through the SEMA Show, but this one stood out with a pair of things we wished came from the factory: solid axles. Instead of the IFS, you’ll find radius arms, hydraulic steering, and Ford Super Duty axles with 5.38 gears and pneumatic lockers. Tires? Those are Mickey Thompson Baja Pro XS meats measuring 40×13.50R17.
