The parking issues come after motorists misused visitor permits, leaving homeowners and tenants unable to leave their cars in their own spaces. The problem is causing concern for residents who feel trapped in their homes and unable to leave.
Many residents have opted to use public transport services instead of their vehicles to ensure they do not lose their spot.
Derek Harrison, a semi-retired electrician who has lived in the estate for over 30 years has also been affected.
He described the situation as “an absolute mess” for locals with many people “getting angry”.
He said: “I’m having to use a taxi now or a bus to get about.
“Can you believe I’ve got a car and I can’t even use it?
“Because I know what will happen, I’ll take it out then I’ll have nowhere to park all day. It’s shocking.”
He added: “People are getting angry around here.
“There are people that need to use their car but they can’t, because people are misusing the visitor’s permits.

“The whole thing’s a mess, an absolute mess.”
Nottingham City Council said these permits should only be used “by genuine visitors”.
They said abusing permits “undermines the purpose” of the schemes which are there to “protect spaces for residents”.
They warned civil enforcement crews would be looking to “crackdown” on misuse of permits across the city.
