New Zenvo Aurora V12 hypercar set for August 2023 reveal
Danish manufacturer Zenvo is all set to unveil the next model in its hypercar series this summer
The car industry might be in a head-long rush towards electrification deadlines at the end of the decade but that isn’t going to deter low volume manufacturers like Zenvo from trying to perfect the good-old petrol hypercar. The Danish brand has announced it will be unveiling the new Zenvo Aurora to the world in August this year.
The Aurora will follow in the footsteps of previous Zenvo creations like the original ST1 that launched in 2009, the TS1 and the TSR. Unlike its predecessors, which were based around twin turbocharged or supercharged V8 engines, the Aurora will get a new 6.0-litre twin-turbo V12.

Zenvo is pushing the boat out with the Aurora, even by its own adventurous standards, with a modular chassis integrating a carbon monocoque and carbon sub frames. There’s also a gearbox featuring an integrated hybrid drive that the firm has created itself.
The car is set to be offered in two distinct guises, the Zenvo Aurora Tur is a road-focused GT car with a speed limiter set at over 249mph. The Zenvo Aurora Agil will get a more track-biased setup with bigger, more aggressive aerodynamic aids for faster lap times. According to Zenvo, both versions will be honed to deliver driver engagement over headline numbers.
Speaking on the Aurora’s official announcement Zenvo Chairman Jens Sverdrup said: “It is a remarkable honour to direct our growing team, as we undertake the most exciting phase in the history of the company. This car has come from the passion that runs deep in the Zenvo family and very much aligns with our ethos of ‘smiles per mile’. 2023 is going to be a truly exciting year.”
