The new series kicked into life at the end of August with former F1 mechanic Marc Priestley joining Wheeler Dealers regular Mike Brewer. The series promises to restore a range of modern classic motors including the Mini Mark 1, Fiat Coupe, TVR Griffith and a Renault 5 Turbo.
However, Mr Priestley confirmed the show was in for a fresh new look as the series makes its return to the UK after four years in the US.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, Me Priestley said: “It’s still essentially Mike (Brewer) buying a car and bringing it back to me now at a workshop based in the UK.
“I will do it up, restore it, add some value to it with the mechanical stuff that I’m able to do.
“Then we will go and test drive the car to make sure we are both happy with it and then we will try and sell it for a profit, so in the most basic terms, that’s all the same.
“Some of the differences this time around, first of all, it is back in the UK.
“Not only does that mean we have a brand new workshop which Mike and I were able to pretty much design from scratch.
“That’s been great, we’ve got everything we need, we are well kitted out.
“We are in a great location, up near Bicester, which is in a great automotive area.

“What we are trying to do perhaps a little bit more this series is to tap into that network of other suppliers.
“[Get involved with] other car people, other tradespeople near us where we are now based to help us make this show.
“You will see a couple of recurring characters in the series.”
Mr Priestley also confirmed the two hosts would be interacting together more during the show.
