New ‘revolutionary’ parking technology could stop drivers from receiving parking fines

New parking experts Hozah has just received investment which will ensure their revolutionary new technology can get off the ground. The new tool promises to “transform” the way drivers pay for their parking charges to ensure road users are never caught out again.

The fully automated parking payment system connects drivers cars to ANPR number plate recognition cameras.

This will detect when drivers enter and exit a car park and will calculate how long cars have stayed.

The parking fees are then automatically calculated, with drivers billed the correct length of their stay without any further action required from the driver.

Hozah’s tool will reduce the effects of human error and ensure road users never forget to pay their fines or charges.

Hozah said payment rules are “often unclear” and can leave people “rushing back” to a predetermined time.

They say once installed, road users do not need to worry about fines because their car is their payment card.

It also means motorists do not need to worry about carrying cash to purchase traditional tickets from pay and display machines.

The tool will come with a specially designed application allowing drivers to check their transaction history at any time.

This will provide drivers with a breakdown of costs over each parking session and calculate how much has been spent over the course of weeks or months.

Drivers can register as many vehicles as they like and the tool can be used in any Hozah adapted car park.

The new programme is not the only new tool designed to improve the parking experience for road users.

Innovative firm Parkopedia has launched a new programme designed to help drivers navigate indoor areas such as multi-storey car parks.

The technology will focus on areas where current GPS tools cannot access as easily such as multi-storey car parks.

The tool will also allow drivers to find indoor electric charging stations while the app will even help them locate their car if they get lost.
