The Lowrider Garage series was rolling around the central part of California earlier this year and made a quick stop in the town of Delhi to visit a well-known custom fabrication shop known as Punch 84. Kenny and his dad Leroy, along with their crew and family, have been in the metal fab business for decades. The father and son team initially created a build in the early ’90s that earned a Lowrider Truck of the Year award.
At that time, the duo wanted an award-winning ride and they wanted it done right, so, they did it themselves, and that’s how they established competition dominance and their growing business. Today, they can be found building one-off customs for customers from all walks of life, from mild to full-blown wild creations.
Over the years you could say they’ve become welded together as they continue to design, fabricate, and showcase their love for all things custom. Frame-off restorations, suicide doors, tilt hoods, frame wraps, and anything else you can imagine for a custom build are all on offer. They can just dream up anything and have the means to create it, as there have the knowledge, experience, machinery, and tools.
If You Can Dream It
Hot rods, lowriders, and trucks are displayed all over the shop and each year, make, and model features the shop’s unique style and craftsmanship. Kenny, along with his family and his crew, take us on a tour of their proud facility to show you how they went from building that famous lowrider truck to later building a business that’s become a family tradition.
This episode is proof that a family that welds together, stays together. See it this Friday on the Lowrider You Tube Channel, Facebook page, or our Instagram TV page.
