2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class: Recall Alert

Vehicles Affected: Approximately 1,500 model-year 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE350 and GLE450 luxury SUVs

The Problem: The owner’s manuals don’t include information regarding the adjustment of the head restraints of the third-row seats. Improperly adjusted head restraints increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash.

The Fix: Dealers will provide a supplementary owner’s manual booklet with the necessary information for free.

What Owners Should Do: Mercedes-Benz will begin notifying owners Nov. 8. Owners can call the automaker at 800-367-6372, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
